- On September 28, 1986, a man named King left his home in Bowie, Maryland, saying he was going to Church Road. He never came back.
Two days later, his truck was found abandoned in a restaurant parking lot in Edgewater, Maryland. There was blood in the truck, but King wasn’t there.
Police learned King was dealing drugs and owed a lot of money. Because of this, and the unsolved mystery of his disappearance, some reports might say he disappeared from Edgewater, even though he left his home in Bowie. The case remains a mystery.
