His teeth appear grayish in color and he has an orthopedic pin implanted in his left ankle. Barnes smoked Marlboro cigarettes at the time of his 1988 disappearance. His nickname is Tim.
- Details of Disappearance:
- In July 1988, a man named Barnes, who lived in Cucamonga, California, went for a hike in Yosemite National Park. He started his hike near Tenaya Lakes around 9:00 a.m. on July 5th, planning a short three-mile trip to Polly Dome Lakes and back by 4:30 p.m. He never returned.
His friends reported him missing the next day, and a big search was done, but nothing was found. Because he was never seen again, he was officially declared dead in 1990, two years later. His body has never been found.
