Details of Disappearance:
On August 23, 2009, a nurse named Sharpless disappeared. She was last seen in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, around 4:45 a.m.

Earlier that night, she’d gone out with a friend, Crystal Johns. They went to a nightclub and then a house party. Around 3 a.m., Sharpless texted her 12-year-old daughter. Later, she got into an argument at the party, and she and Johns were asked to leave. Both had been drinking, which Sharpless shouldn’t have been doing because of her medication. She was tired and upset.

After leaving the party, Sharpless and Johns argued because Johns thought Sharpless was too drunk to drive (Sharpless had a previous DUI). Sharpless made Johns get out of the car and drove off alone. Johns assumed she’d be back, but she never was.

Sharpless was driving her black 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix (license plate DND7772). The car has never been found, although the license plate was spotted in Camden, New Jersey, two weeks later. Her phone has also been off since around 4 a.m. that day. She was reportedly low on gas.

There have been unconfirmed sightings of Sharpless in areas known for drugs and prostitution in Lancaster and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Camden, New Jersey. A private investigator thinks she might be involved in drugs or sex work, as she had struggled with drugs in the past. However, no one at the party is considered a suspect, and neither is Johns.

Sharpless hasn’t used her bank accounts or credit cards since she disappeared. She was a single mom who worked at a hospital and was described as a devoted mother who wouldn’t leave her child. Her disappearance is a mystery and remains unsolved.
