- Travis was taken away from his mom by his grandparents on May 22, 2004, in Bakersfield, California. His grandparents didn’t have permission to take him. The police found them two years later, in August 2006, living in a retirement community in Surprise, Arizona. The grandparents were arrested, and Travis will soon be going back to live with his mom.
