- On March 15, 2008, Roldan went fishing in Tampa, Florida, with a friend whose name we don’t know. They never came back. Their boat also disappeared. It was a 1988 Wellcraft fiberglass boat. Because they were never found, Roldan is believed to have died at sea, and he’s been officially declared dead.
