Details of Disappearance:

In 1974, Susan Lamberton was a psychology student in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was separated from her husband and had moved out, storing her belongings in her professor’s garage. Her husband suspected she was having an affair with the professor, Dr. Barker, as they were seen together frequently.

Lamberton told her husband she was going on a weekend trip to Maine, but she never returned. Her friend said the trip never happened. Her husband contacted Dr. Barker, who was hospitalized in Colorado. The husband suspected Lamberton was with him.

When questioned, Barker denied knowing anything about Lamberton’s disappearance. Lamberton’s belongings were retrieved from his garage a year later. Some family members believed she ran away to start a new life. No missing person report was filed until 2010, 36 years after she vanished. A friend later revealed that Lamberton had told her she was going to Colorado with Barker.

Lamberton’s disappearance remains a mystery. She was from Kansas but claimed to be from Colorado. She was last seen at her home on Westford Road in Worcester. The case remains unsolved.
