- Details of Disappearance:
- Vicki Nisbett disappeared on December 14, 1991, after leaving for a Christmas party. Her husband, Rex, reported her missing two days later, claiming she needed time alone. However, Vicki’s family said this was unusual for her.
Vicki and Rex were separated and divorcing, but Rex was staying at her apartment. Police later found Vicki’s blood in their apartment, indicating she’d been killed. Her car was found in February 1992.
Years later, in 2013, Rex was charged with Vicki’s murder. Evidence suggested he killed her after an argument, possibly motivated by her new relationship. He was convicted in 2014, but the conviction was briefly overturned before being reinstated in 2018. The court ruled there was enough evidence to prove Rex killed Vicki. Vicki’s body has never been found.
