He has a tattoo of a sun between his shoulders, a tattoo of a palm tree on his left ankle, and a surgical scar in the center of his back. Olsen’s nickname is Brad. He has a hairy chest and legs, the hair on his scalp is thinning and receding, and he had a mustache and goatee at the time of his disappearance.

Details of Disappearance:

On January 20, 2007, around 2:25 AM, a man named Olsen disappeared. He was last seen at a nightclub called Bar One in DeKalb, Illinois, leaving after closing time. He was drunk and trying to get a ride home to Maple Park, but his phone died, and he vanished.

It was freezing cold that night – near zero degrees Fahrenheit. His parents were on vacation in Florida and reported him missing when they returned on January 24th. He left his cars and money untouched. He had a young daughter who lived with her mother. His parents were worried because he’d never gone more than two days without contacting them.

Olsen had a past with some minor and serious crimes, including assaulting a police officer, but it’s not known if that relates to his disappearance. Police investigated, even giving lie detector tests to some people, but no one was ever charged. In 2010, he was declared legally dead, allowing his daughter to get Social Security benefits. The case is still a mystery.
