Details of Disappearance:: On May 23, 2004, Petrilena went swimming from a houseboat near Grebe Bay on Lake Mead, close to Las Vegas. Strong winds blew the houseboat away, and he couldn’t swim back. Someone else on the boat tried to rescue him, but couldn’t reach him before he disappeared. That part of the lake is very deep (180 feet), and sadly, Petrilena’s body was never found. It’s believed he drowned.
