- Little Vinyette disappeared on June 25, 1983. She was last seen playing on the seventh floor of her family’s apartment building in Chicago’s Robert Taylor Homes. Her family—parents, three older brothers, and grandparents—all lived in the same building, which was on South Federal Street (around the 5000 block). That building has been torn down since then.
