Distinguishing Characteristics African-American male. Black hair, black eyes. Roland has a tattoo on his upper left arm of a photo of a woman with “RIP” above the photo and the date “8-4-2001” or “8-4-2002” below it; the tattoo may also have the name “Charlene Roland” below the date. He has a surgical scar on his right arm, surgical scars on both sides of his left knee, surgical scars on the right side of his chest, and a keloid scar which is possibly on his left thigh. Roland’s nicknames are Will and Poo.

Details of Disappearance:

Roland and his half-brother, Deion, vanished after being seen together at a Cincinnati club (Parktown Cafe, near Linn Street) around 9:45 pm on September 26, 2005. Their families reported them missing because this was very unlike them. Both brothers had criminal records and a history with drugs, but their families said they were trying to change their lives. Deion was visiting from Memphis, Tennessee and had only been in Cincinnati for a day.

Soon after, police found their belongings – phones, wallets, keys, sunglasses, and Roland’s bloodstained baseball cap – thrown away in a dumpster. Because of the blood, police believe they were murdered. While no one has been arrested, the case remains unsolved.
