Police later looked into a possible suspect, searching their car and house, but found nothing. No one has been arrested.

Investigators think her disappearance might be linked to unsolved murders of other women who worked as prostitutes in the area.

Scott was married with two sons. Her husband said she’d struggled with crack cocaine and prostitution but was trying to change her life. Police think she may have been buying drugs the night she disappeared.

Her case is unsolved, and police suspect foul play.
