Details of Disappearance:
Rozelle disappeared from his Medford, Oregon home on May 29, 2002. He was supposed to meet a lawyer in California on June 3rd to discuss his recently deceased father’s inheritance (a large sum of money and property).

When he didn’t contact family or friends for two weeks, they assumed he was still in California. However, a friend found his unlocked truck at his house on June 6th, and his phone, wallet, and briefcase were missing a few days later. His small red travel bag, which he always took on trips, was still at home. His failure to show up for Father’s Day on June 18th led to a missing person report.

Investigations revealed he never met the lawyer, and there’s no record of him flying anywhere. He hasn’t used his phone, credit cards, or bank accounts since May 29th. Police found evidence of a marijuana growing operation in his house (though no plants), and informants say he was involved in drug trafficking. However, it’s unclear if this is related to his disappearance.

Adding to the mystery, Rozelle’s mother was charged with forging his will a year later. This will left her as the sole beneficiary and cut out Rozelle’s daughter. The family had cleaned his house before police arrived, potentially destroying evidence.

While Rozelle was upset about his father’s death, leaving without warning was out of character. Police suspect foul play and the case remains unsolved, with Oregon and California authorities investigating.
