- Details of Disappearance:
- Shookman disappeared on July 28, 2012, after leaving a family reunion in Kellogg, Idaho. He was driving to his aunt’s house, a short six-mile trip, but never arrived. His maroon 1998 Ford Escort (Montana license plate 240997A) was found abandoned two months later.
He lived in Great Falls, Montana, and may have gone to Washington state or back to Montana. It’s very unusual for him to disappear without telling anyone, especially since he was close to his family. Sadly, his 16-year-old son died nine years after he vanished.
Police think his disappearance is suspicious, and the case is still unsolved. Shookman’s family believes he is dead.
