He has deep dimples, including a dimple on his chin. McArthur has a colored tattoo of an eagle on the bottom of his left arm and a tattoo of a ribbon with his nickname “Bill” on his upper left arm. He wears a full upper denture plate and partial or full lower dentures; he also had some of his natural teeth left in his lower jaw in 1982.

Details of Disappearance:

On September 14, 1982, McArthur disappeared from Worcester, Massachusetts. He’d received a phone call asking him to go to the Italian Kitchen Restaurant. He went, but three men were seen leaving with him, and he was never seen again.

Two weeks later, his car was found in Boston, but he wasn’t in it. Police think he was involved in drugs and was having problems; he was upset before he vanished but wouldn’t say why. He had a job, a wife, and two kids, and was also having an affair.

Investigators believe McArthur was murdered by several people. The main suspect is still alive but lives outside the US. Others who might have been involved are dead. Searches for his body turned up nothing. He was declared legally dead in 1989, and the case remains a mystery.
