Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Monroe goes by his first and middle initials, C.W. He has previously fractured his left foot, and one of his upper front teeth is chipped. Monroe has a scar on his right knee.
Details of Disappearance:
On May 7, 2005, Monroe was last seen. The next morning, his small apartment in a barn on family land in Virginia burned down completely. At first, investigators thought they found his body in the ashes, but it turned out to be the remains of his three dogs. Monroe hasn’t been seen since.

He lived a quiet life, without a car, bank account, or credit cards, keeping his money at home. Police don’t think the fire destroyed his body entirely, and they don’t know what started the fire. His family is unsure what happened; some suspect foul play, maybe a robbery, because Monroe loved his dogs and wouldn’t have left them to die. The case is still a mystery.
