- Charlotte left home in Watertown, Wisconsin on July 18, 1974. Two weeks later, her parents received a letter from her saying she was in Illinois with a 41-year-old trucker. She said everything was fine and she’d write again. She never did. Sadly, nobody reported her missing until almost 45 years later, on May 29, 2019. There’s not much information about what happened to her.
