- Greenman was last seen in Waterville, Washington on September 14, 1976, the day she left jail. Nobody knows for sure what happened after that. She might have traveled around Washington or Oregon, but she disappeared and was never heard from again. It wasn’t until 2004—28 years later—that anyone reported her missing. She was known for traveling a lot, often hitchhiking, but she usually kept in touch with her family. The police still don’t know what happened to her.
