- Details of Disappearance:
- China disappeared from Christiana, Tennessee on October 19, 1999. She was last seen at a beauty salon and was going to get groceries and gas for her car before heading home. Her black Mazda was found abandoned months later in Nashville, with the groceries still inside, but no clues.
At first, police thought she might have left on her own, but now they suspect foul play. China was a good student with a part-time job. She had recently bought her car and ordered a class ring.
Investigators have looked into two people, “Chris” and “TJ,” as possible suspects. In 2015 and 2016, police said they believed she was murdered and that an arrest was coming, but no one was ever charged. The case remains a mystery.
