Aline is Hispanic, with light brown hair and green eyes. She’s from Mexico but was living in the US on a student visa. She speaks English, French, and Spanish and might use the last names Combe or Combe-Rivas. She may be suicidal.

Chloe’s dad, Didier, had shared custody with Aline, but got full custody after Aline took Chloe. They flew to Mexico through Houston. Didier sued the airline because they didn’t follow the rules about letting a parent take a child to Mexico without permission from the other parent.

Didier has gone to Mexico many times to find Chloe. He even used an international law (the Hague Convention) to try to get her back. A Mexican court initially said Chloe could stay in Mexico, but a higher court later ordered her return to the US and her father. However, Aline and Chloe disappeared and haven’t been found. They are believed to be hiding in or around Mexico City.
