- Details of Disappearance:
- On April 9, 2011, Mr. Panchyshyn went deep-sea fishing in Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. Big waves crashed over their small (26-foot) boat, throwing three of the four fishermen into the rough ocean. Two were saved, but Mr. Panchyshyn wasn’t wearing a life jacket and disappeared. A big search was done, but he was never found. He’s believed to have drowned.
