- Details of Disappearance:
- On September 8, 1996, Tinsley got into a blue 1995 Chevrolet driven by a white man outside her home in Toledo, Ohio. She was worried and asked her mom to write down the car’s license plate. She’s never been seen since.
Police think something bad happened to her. While Tinsley had a criminal record and used drugs, she wouldn’t leave her mom and three kids without a word. Around the same time, several other women, who were sex workers, were murdered or disappeared in the area. A serial killer admitted to some of those crimes, but others remain mysteries, and it’s unclear if they’re connected to Tinsley’s case.
Sadly, one of Tinsley’s children died in a fire in 1997. Tinsley’s disappearance is still unsolved.
