- On February 9th, 2023, Smith walked away from his daughter’s house in Cedar Hill, Texas, and disappeared. He’s been missing ever since. This wasn’t the first time he wandered off; he’d done it twice before, and each time he made it as far as Dallas before his family found him. His family had just moved from their old home in South Dallas, which might be why he got lost.
