Details of Disappearance:
Robert Weeks was a violent and controlling man with a history of disappearing women. His first wife, Patricia, vanished in 1968 after their divorce, leaving behind their four young children. Years later, his girlfriend, Jabour, disappeared in Las Vegas in 1980 after telling friends she was breaking up with him because of his jealousy. Both women’s cars were found abandoned. Jabour left behind expensive possessions and a significant amount of money. Robert was a suspect but fled the country.

He resurfaced in San Diego under an alias, where he started a relationship with a nurse, Carol Ann Riley, who also disappeared in 1986 after planning to leave him. Again, her car was abandoned. A business associate, James Shaw, also disappeared after an argument with Robert years earlier.

Police eventually caught up with Robert in Arizona in 1987. He was convicted of murdering Patricia and Jabour even though their bodies were never found – a first in Nevada history. The evidence included witness testimony of his abusive behavior, his diary entries expressing revenge, and the suspicious disappearances of the other women. He died in prison in 1996 without ever being charged with the murders of Riley and Shaw. Police suspect he may have disposed of the bodies in Nevada mine shafts.
