- On November 4, 2007, Xu went for a hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness near Blue River, Oregon. He reached the top of Olallie Mountain and briefly talked to another couple around 1:30 p.m. He seemed rushed as he quickly headed back down. Xu never came home and has been missing ever since.
