His nicknames are Danny and Dan. Standifer has previously fractured his jaw and he has a small gap between his upper teeth. He has a tattoo of a spiderweb on each elbow and a tattoo of a scorpion on his outer right forearm.
- Details of Disappearance:
- On September 23, 1994, Standifer was last seen around 6:00 PM near 65th and College in Indianapolis. He’d been playing pool at the Stone Mug Cafe and got into a fight in the parking lot. He walked away, likely heading home. He was supposed to go to his brother’s birthday party, but he never showed up and disappeared.
Because Standifer had a history of drug and alcohol problems and lived an unstable life, his family wasn’t worried at first. But when he didn’t contact anyone, they got scared. They now think he’s dead. He left behind four children. Some relatives suspect his two sons, who both ended up in prison (one for murder, one for robbery) after he vanished, might know something about what happened to him. The case is still a mystery.
