- On December 26, 2001, at 2:00 a.m., Wells disappeared from Bossier City, Louisiana. He left his parents’ house to help friends and was never seen again.
About a week later, on January 1, 2002, his red 1982 Chevrolet pickup truck was found abandoned near a bridge in Shreveport. His wallet was inside the truck, but he wasn’t. Not much is known about what happened to him.
