- Details of Disappearance:
- On March 12, 2018, a man named Kempker disappeared near Sherman Island in California. He was reportedly fishing with a friend, but his family doesn’t believe this because he didn’t own fishing gear or a license.
He never came home, and his family reported him missing the next day. His truck was found abandoned two days later near Highway 160, with only his hat and vest left behind.
Kempker was an electrician who worked in Truckee but lived in Concord with his mother. He liked outdoor activities and extreme sports, so he was familiar with the wilderness. His phone and bank accounts haven’t been used since he vanished. The Concord police are still investigating, and the case is unsolved.
