Details of Disappearance:
A woman named Deans vanished from her home in Spring Hope, North Carolina, in January 2004. She lived there with her sister-in-law, Kimberly Hancock. Fifteen years later, Deans’s body was found buried in a shallow grave on the same property, where Hancock still lived. Hancock has been arrested and charged with Deans’s murder. This isn’t Hancock’s first brush with the law; she was previously charged with killing her father but only received a suspended sentence. Interestingly, Hancock’s brother has also been missing since 2009, but police haven’t said if they think she’s involved.
