- On May 4, 1988, in Houston, Texas, Hillard was last seen. She talked to a friend at 8:30 PM and said she was going to sleep. She vanished without a trace.
Her boyfriend found her apartment empty the next morning. Nothing seemed stolen, and some windows were open, which was normal for her. But her car, a 1979 AMC Spirit, was found abandoned a mile away, trashed and with blood inside. Her purse was gone. Police think something bad happened to her.
