Details of Disappearance:
On June 13, 2018, Westlock went boating on the Yukon River near Emmonak, Alaska. Their boat crashed into a hidden log, flipped over, and he and a friend fell into the river. Westlock wasn’t wearing a life jacket. His friend was saved by another boat and recovered from getting too cold, but Westlock disappeared and is believed to have drowned. He graduated from high school in Emmonak in 2013 and worked at a fish processing plant. When the fish plant was closed, he lived off the land, hunting, fishing, trapping, and gathering food. His body was never found.
