- On July 7, 1994, a man named Samstag disappeared in Needles, California. He and a friend were drinking by the Colorado River near Wetmore Beach. The friend passed out, and when he woke up, Samstag was missing. A search found nothing, and nobody has seen or heard from Samstag since. There’s not much information about what happened to him.
