- Reeves disappeared from her home in Ferndale, Washington on July 26, 1989. She was upset when she left. Her boyfriend reported her missing.
A month later, on September 2nd, her silver 1983 Plymouth Subaru was found abandoned deep in the mountains east of Granite Falls. The area was rough and difficult to travel through, and she wasn’t dressed for it. Her car keys were in the car, but she was gone.
Police in both Whatcom and Snohomish Counties are still trying to figure out what happened to her. The case is unsolved.
