- In March 1987, a woman named Mulhern disappeared. She was last seen at a motel in King County, Washington. Her boyfriend said he left her at a shopping mall that afternoon, but she never came back.
Mulhern worked as a sex worker and lived a dangerous life. She and her boyfriend traveled around the US for two years before settling in Washington. She had a criminal record and had disappeared overnight before, so it wasn’t entirely unusual for her to be gone. However, because she’s never been found, police think she might have been killed by a serial killer.
