Her husband said she left unexpectedly after he told her the cost of renewing their trailer license was $33.60 – a lot of money for their fixed income. She left without her coat, purse, or money, and didn’t have a car.
Bolton’s family said she’d been unhappy lately because of money problems, pain from past car accidents, and feeling lonely in their isolated location. They moved there from Los Angeles four years earlier.
