Details of Disappearance:
In August 1969, a woman named Carnevale vanished from Lowell, Massachusetts. She’d recently moved in with her mother after leaving her husband and two young kids. She left all her clothes behind.

Two days later, her new car was found abandoned at a hospital, with the keys in the ignition, her purse ($4 inside), and wallet. This was strange because she’d just received a $3,500 settlement and had spent most of it.

Carnevale was a loving mother who often saw her children. She was also dating, and one boyfriend passed a lie detector test. She was known to seek help from professionals.

Her husband said she called him two weeks after she disappeared, claiming she was in a Boston hotel. Police couldn’t confirm this. A friend suggested she might have left willingly, possibly to California or Ohio, but her family didn’t believe she’d abandon her kids.

Despite investigations, Carnevale’s disappearance remains a mystery.
