Details of Disappearance:
A young woman named Hall moved from Ohio to California in 1978. She was poor, working only by donating blood, and lived in Los Angeles. In July 1979, she was hitchhiking and picked up by two men, Bittaker and Norris, who were serial killers. They kidnapped, raped, and murdered her, along with other women, throwing her body off a cliff. Her body, and that of another victim, Lucinda Schaefer, has never been found. Bittaker and Norris were caught, convicted, and imprisoned. Bittaker received the death penalty but died of natural causes in prison. Norris also died in prison.
