Details of Disappearance:
On September 26, 1980, Susan Skelton disappeared after attending a party near Lodi, California. She was last seen at a bar called Herman and Helen’s Marina. Her blue 1978 Toyota was never found.

A man at the bar, described as tall, thin, and dark-haired, was bothering Skelton and she refused his advances. It’s unknown if police ever identified him or if he’s a suspect. A sketch of him exists.

Three and a half months earlier, Skelton’s fiancĂ© drowned accidentally in the Mokelumne River. Although she was still sad about his death, her family is sure she wouldn’t have just disappeared. They say she had no serious problems before she vanished.

Police aren’t sure what happened to Skelton. They think she might have accidentally driven into the water, but there’s no proof of that or any other explanation. The case remains a mystery.
