Details of Disappearance:
Garrett Hughes disappeared from the Manor House, a retirement home near Academy Avenue and Fraser Street in Georgetown, South Carolina, on November 27, 2003. He was never seen again, despite a big search.

Hughes was from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and his family wondered if he’d tried to go back home, but he wasn’t found there either. He’d lived at the Manor House for three years and often walked to a nearby church, always coming back. However, he couldn’t walk far because he was paralyzed. His brother suspects another resident with a car might have given him a ride that day.

The Manor House is now closed, and the mystery of what happened to Garrett Hughes remains unsolved.
