Details of Disappearance:
Gary Hose disappeared from Phoenix, Arizona on April 30, 1974, when he was five years old. His twin brother later said their mother killed him, but this hasn’t been proven.

Years later, in 2015, Gary’s older brother tried to search for him on their old family property in Maricopa, Arizona. The police stopped him, but they searched the property and another old family home themselves, but found nothing. The family still thinks clues are on the Maricopa property.

The search got media attention, and Gary’s former babysitter came forward. She said Gary was abused and neglected, and that his mother had made her lock him and his twin brother in a room without food or water. She reported this to the police at the time, but nothing was done. Gary’s older brother also said the whole family was abused. He remembers being told never to mention Gary again after they moved.

Even though Gary’s mother may have been involved, she’s never been charged with anything. Gary’s disappearance remains a mystery.
