- Details of Disappearance:
- On February 10, 1996, near Santa Cruz, California, a group of friends were on a small blue and white boat when huge waves capsized it. One of the passengers, DiLorenzo, couldn’t swim and wasn’t wearing a life jacket. He went underwater and drowned. Everyone else was rescued. Because the captain didn’t make DiLorenzo wear a life jacket, his wife sued the captain in 1997, claiming the captain was responsible for his death.
