Details of Disappearance:
On April 17, 2017, Dr. Towery, a chiropractor, disappeared. He left home for work in Victoria, Texas, around 7:30 a.m. Someone saw him at a convenience store on his usual route. He never made it to work.

His truck was found abandoned on May 7th, in a very remote, brushy area of Victoria County. It had been there for at least two weeks. His belongings were in the truck, but he wasn’t. Police think he was abducted.

It’s very unusual for him to disappear like this, especially since he never missed patient appointments. His wife filed for divorce a few months later, saying she needed to protect their house because she couldn’t afford the mortgage payments.

The case remains a mystery.
