- On September 1, 1993, Rowell disappeared. She was last seen leaving her room at the old Garden Motel on 4th Street in Eureka. No one has heard from her since. Her friend reported her missing six days later. Police think something suspicious happened, and Rowell’s mother believes she was murdered. Sadly, there isn’t much information about what happened to her.
