- Details of Disappearance:
- On September 14, 2006, Laetari disappeared while free diving (diving underwater holding your breath) near the Florida Keys. He never came back up. Laetari grew up in Kansas, loved swimming, and later earned a marine biology degree. He worked for Dynasty Marine Associates and had recently gotten married when he vanished. It’s believed he died at sea.
