- In March 2015, Helena and Henrique disappeared from Long Beach, California. Their mom, Colette Okanya, who didn’t have legal custody, took them to Uganda for a supposed five-week trip. She never brought them back. Their dad, Charles De Nogueira Ferrao, has full custody and has been searching for them ever since. Police issued a warrant for Okanya’s arrest. She’s African-American, about 5’3″ tall, and weighs around 120 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. She might also use the names Sheila Komuntale or Colette Kanyunuzi. The kids are still missing.
