Details of Disappearance:
In April 1999, a woman named Moore vanished from Galveston, Texas. She lived with her boyfriend, Clint, and his brother, Scott. Moore had a complicated life: she was still married to someone else, even though she and Clint had a son together, and she was also seeing another man. Things were tense at home; Moore accused Scott of trying to rape her.

The last anyone saw Moore, she left her home in an old, beat-up Chevrolet Impala. She had packed some clothes and her checkbook. Days later, her boss at a car dealership noticed she hadn’t come to work and then Clint showed up, saying she wouldn’t be back. Only then did the boss contact the police.

Both Clint and Scott are considered suspects. Scott pawned Moore’s rings and forged a check from her account – for the exact amount left in it. He also admitted to sabotaging Moore’s truck to prevent her from leaving. He refused a lie detector test. Clint claimed he was out of town the day Moore disappeared.

Moore had another son, who was living in a children’s home at the time. Clint later told this son that Moore had abandoned them. The son, now an adult, believes his mother was murdered.

There’s been no trace of Moore since 1999. She’s presumed dead, but her disappearance remains a mystery.
