- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Red hair, blue eyes. Gasperian may go by the first name Lynn (sometimes spelled “Lin”), or use her maiden name, Brandon. She has a six- to eight-inch vertical scar on her abdomen from gastric bypass surgery; a photo of it is posted with this case summary. Gasperian was a heavy smoker at the time of her disappearance and had heavy tar buildup on her teeth.
- Details of Disappearance:
- In the summer or fall of 1970, a woman named Gasperian disappeared from Redondo Beach, California. She was living with a friend, Laurie Daniels, at the time. Daniels’ car was later found abandoned, with all of Gasperian’s belongings inside. Nobody has seen or heard from Gasperian since.
Gasperian had a difficult childhood in foster care. She got married, had two sons, but divorced in 1962. In January 1970, she sent her sons to live with their father in Los Angeles. She had connections to Wisconsin and Arizona, as well as California.
The police don’t know what happened to her; her disappearance is a mystery.
