Details of Disappearance:
Jaisle disappeared in Richmond, Virginia on April 12, 1998. She was going to the University of Richmond library to study. Her car was found abandoned on the Willey Bridge later that day. Her keys were gone, but everything else was in the car: her wallet, money, paycheck, even her Bible and sneakers. There was no sign of a struggle.

Police and her family searched, even looking in the James River, but found nothing. Her family is sure she didn’t run away; she left most of her belongings behind. She was a good student with a part-time job, and she missed work and a church announcement that day. She was also supposed to go on a family trip to New York for Easter.

Jaisle was a smart, well-behaved, religious teenager. Her family thinks she was kidnapped, possibly by people who were jealous of her. Her disappearance remains a mystery.
