- Marten disappeared from Omaha, Nebraska on December 10, 2012. His wife saw him leave for work that morning. They talked on the phone later that day, but he never picked up his son from school and vanished.
Six days later, his car was found near the Missouri River. His phone and glasses were in the car, but his keys were gone. Marten had recently lost his job and was feeling down about it. His bank accounts haven’t been touched since he disappeared. He left behind two teenage kids.
