- On October 18, 1981, James called a friend and said he was hitchhiking from his home in Halifax, Massachusetts. He never arrived. Police can’t find any record of him getting a ride, and he might have walked, possibly through nearby swamps. James was a newspaper delivery boy. He lived on Lakeside Road in Hanson, and Hanson police are still looking into his disappearance. At first, they thought he ran away, but now they think something bad might have happened to him.
